E-Filing 2017 – Tax Relief

In a few months, it is that time again where we need to fill up the E-Filing thing required by Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN). These are 12 list that we can use to get the tax relief, for individual residents.

Tax Exemptions

1. Medical expenses for parents
2. Self education fees
3. Medical expenses for self, spouse or child
4. SSPN saving scheme
5. Contribution to the Social Security Organization (SOCSO)
6. Lifestyle (books, computers, etc)
7. Purchase of breastfeeding equipment
8. Child care fees to a Child Care Centre or a Kindergarten
9. Life insurance and EPF
10. Deferred Annuity and Private Retirement Scheme (PRS) – with effect from year assessment 2012 until year assessment 2021
11. Insurance premium for education or medical benefit
12. Zakat
