Retrieve Windows product keys

Yo! In case you lost your Windows product key, here is a simple way to retrieve it, without the need of installing any third party software. Note that this is only works on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10.

To retrieve it :

1. Open a command prompt.
2. Type this – wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey

That’s it. The key will immediately appear below it.
